"We undertook a major remodel of our Shields Valley, Montana home when we moved here permanently from New Hampshire.
Attempting this project long distance was a huge challenge - only made successful through Ed & Diane's continual attention to the project.
Working with Ed, we developed a plan for a functional and stunning kitchen with the showpiece of that being the beautiful Tiger Maple cabinets that Ed made.
The master bath is also graced by Ed's beautiful cabinetry. Ed created a huge bar area in our great room around an antique mirror that we had found on a Virginia trip - it is the gathering place of our home.
The architectural pieces of our home are outdone by the furniture that Ed has made to compliment our space...From beautiful burl tables to a desk with matching credenza that successfully hides our printer and files.
Each piece was created to not only fit in perfectly - but to reflect our interest in Native American culture. Each day we silently thank Ed and Diane for their creations that make life so much easier and grace it with beauty!
The Kristian Brunsdale Studio was the only contractor to finish on time and on budget and to provide continual support. If our imagination leads to new projects - they will be an integral part of the planning and creating!" |

"The custom furniture built for us by The Kristian Brunsdale Studio is outstanding. We first met Ed and Diane Grunseth when we built in 2004. We
had them build our entertainment center, which you can see in the custom section on the web site, along with a small desk in the same style. We were so happy with the craftsmanship that
we had them build two Mission style dressers and a chair (also pictured on the web site), and two other pieces. We came back to them in 2007 for a totally unique entertainment/craft center as well as an
entryway mirror/coat hanger, bench and Eastlake style bathroom cabinet. We kept coming back to them because of the absolute excellence in custom design and craftsmanship. Ed and Diane do a great job of
understanding exactly what the customer wants. They then show great creativeness in design. We would describe their approach to the wood as more that of sculptors than furniture/cabinet makers. When
we need more custom furniture, we will come back to them. We give them the highest possible recommendation." |

"We love all of our furniture designed and built by The Kristian Brunsdale Studio. We began by having them build shelves for our library. They were professional and easy to work with. We quickly
realized they were very capable from a design and engineering sense to do whatever we wanted. Next we gave them several design challenges for a media cabinet (which included a flat-screened TV), a coffee table and
a dining table. We wanted the pieces to have a modern look to go with our small loft apartment. After great success with those pieces, we gave them another commission to design a dining table for our home to go with some already
existing chairs. We had been looking for a table to match these lovely, curved back chairs and realized that having a table specifically designed was the only option. They came up with several very professional drawings to choose
from that met all our expectations. Our experiences with them have always been positive. They are very competent and hugely creative. We know that every piece designed and built by The Kristian Brunsdale Studio will be part of our
home for many years to come." |

"We first met Ed and Diane at the Bozeman Sweet Pea Festival in 2001 when our new home was still under construction. I knew right away that their furniture would complement the style of our house perfectly. A year and a
half later, Ed built us a beautiful Mountain Mission Alder table and six chairs for our dining area, and a built-in bookshelf and desk for our den/loft area. The results were perfect in every way! A few years later we did a second project that
included a built-in bookshelf/bench for the great room, a six foot movable bench for overflow seating at parties, and two end tables. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Ed and Diane on both projects. All pieces were meticulously designed, built and installed and everything was
completed in the predicted time frames. It's wonderful to have such beautiful handcrafted furniture in our home." |
