Julie Nagel

Julie and her husband Jeff grew up in Montana and Wyoming. They moved to the Seattle area for awhile but their western heritage drew them back to southwestern Montana where they have expanded their Western-influenced ideas. Jeff is an interior designer and Julie is the artist who creates the Contemporary version of an art form that has been around for over 400 years - canvas floor cloths. The heavy canvas is coated several times with gesso. The colorful scenes are painted on with acrylic paint and then sealed with a special acrylic sealant which will not crack or yellow. They are durable and easy to maintain - just wipe them up with mild soap and water.
