The Kristian Brunsdale Studio (KBS) is a custom furniture and
wood-working business owned and operated by me and my wife, Edward "Kristian" and Diane
Grunseth. We specialize in custom home entertainment, office, and household
furnishings (bedroom, dining room, living room, built-ins and cabinets) and architectural amenities
such as mantels and sculptures. KBS also has a number of collections with a
trademarked leg design for the
living, dining, and bedroom areas of your home with a growing number of
accessories.
We are naturally curious and restless - always looking for something new to see or do and finding ways to reconnect to the past and look to the future. We use this approach in our business when creating custom projects as well as finding new artists for our gallery. We always look to past styles and then make them move on: merging styles, adding new, changing proportions, inserting drama & emotion, or just plain trying what pops into our minds. We call this process "Furniture Fusion".
